Overview
Outlook Beginners classes start from the basics and build high demand skills so that you can be more competitive in your job search or more productive in your office. As you work through the sessions of Microsoft Outlook Beginners, each class will be a hands-on and intensive workshop, designed to help make difficult topics easier to understand. Your instructor, a Microsoft expert, will work with you closely to make sure that you avoid common mistakes in Outlook and apply best practices when possible.
Class Objectives
Upon successful completion of Microsoft PowerPoint Beginners class, students will be able to:
- Navigate Outlook to read and respond to email.
- Use the Address Book and format and spell check new messages.
- Attach files and insert illustrations to messages.
- Customize read and response options.
- Use flags, categories, and folders to organize messages.
- Create and work with Contacts.
- Create appointments and schedule meetings in Calendar.
- Create and work with Tasks and Notes.
Pre-requisites
- Basic digital literacy including file management is required.
- It is required you install the latest Microsoft Office software before starting class.
